ATS is an Italian car manufacturer featured in Forza Horizon 4 following the Series 16 update and in Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
ATS (Automobili Turismo e Sport) was founded on 11 February 1962 by Carlo Chiti and Giotto Bizzarrini, two disgruntled ex-Ferrari employees, along with a number of wealthy backers, with their goal to best Ferrari in any way possible.[1] ATS's first car would be the 2500 GT, one of the first GT cars with a mid-engined layout. The company also set up a Formula One team, but this never amounted to much and the team and company folded in 1967.
The current incarnation of ATS, known as ATS Automobili, was started in 2014 by investors Emanuele Bomboi and Daniele Maritan. Their first car was the ATS GT, paying homage to the 2500 GT ATS manufactured some 50 years prior.[2]
