The 2022 Acura NSX Type S - abbreviated as "Acura NSX '22" - is a mid-engine, all-wheel drive hybrid supercar by Acura.
It is featured in Forza Motorsport (2023) since Update 20.
Synopsis[]
The 2022 Acura NSX Type S is an upgraded version of the base 2nd generation NSX that was created to celebrate the 2nd generation NSX's final year of production. Production was limited to 350 units produced in the 2022 model year.
The NSX features upgrades to its powertrain, including enhanced turbochargers from the NSX GT3 Evo and retuned electric motors that bring up the power to 600 hp (447 kW) and 492 ft·lb (667 N·m), an increase of 27 hp (20 kW) and 16 ft·lb (22 N·m) over prior models. The transmission has also been reprogrammed in the Sport and Sport+ mode for 50% faster upshifts, and in Track mode, the transmission allows for sooner downshifts. A new nose design and larger rear diffuser give the car improved aerodynamics over prior models.
The NSX Type S also features various design and interior upgrades, such as Gloss Berlina Black outside mirrors, door handles, a dark exhaust finisher, Alcantara headliner and a new color option: Gotham Gray matte metallic. This makes the Type S the first Acura product to be available in a matte finish[1].
Performance[]
The NSX Type S accelerates from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker than the base model, and speeds up to an electronically limited top speed of 191 mph (307 km/h), with the Type S traveling 1/4 of a mile in 11 seconds.[2]

Trivia[]
- In Forza Motorsport (2023), while originally announced in Update 20, it wasn't unlockable until after Update 21 released.
- Although quicker than the base model in real life, in Forza, it is actually slower, due to the exaggerated torque figure of the 2017 NSX.
