"It’s been 21 years since Alfa Romeo sold cars in the United States, and one drive of the new Giulia might infer they spent the entire time making sure their next entry was perfect. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is all Alfa Romeo, with exotic lines, delicate styling touches, and the performance you expect from an Italian sport sedan. In Quadrifoglio dress the biggest treat is the 505 horsepower Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. Not only is it four-letter fast, but the sonorous rumble it emits is stunning from idle to redline. The front bumper on Quadrifoglio models is aggressive looking and, in the rear, you will find the gigantic rear diffuser and a gorgeously protruding exhaust. It’s been a long time to wait for the new Giulia, but by any measure it was worth it."—Official description[1]
The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - abbreviated as "Alfa Giulia '17" - is a rear-wheel drive sports sedan by Alfa Romeo.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 7 as part of the Samsung QLED Car Pack, and all subsequent main series titles, as well as Forza Street.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 24 and in Forza Motorsport (2023) as a Spotlight car in Update 4.0.
Synopsis[]
The Giulia Quadrifoglio is the high-performance model of the new Giulia lineup and the first model of the 952-codenamed Giulia range to be unveiled. The 952 Giulia is the successor to the Alfa Romeo 159. "Giulia" is pronounced as "Julia", while "Quadrifoglio" (pronounced qua-dri-foh-li-oh) means "four-leaf clover" in Italian.
Drivetrain[]
The engine of the Quadrifoglio is a 2.9L (2,891 cc) twin-turbocharged 90-degree V6 engine. Developed exclusively for the car by Ferrari technicians, this V6 is related to Ferrari's F154 twin-turbocharged V8 engine, sharing the Ferrari California T's bore of 3.4 in (86.5 mm) and stroke of 3.2 in (82.0 mm). It produces 506 hp (377 kW) at 6,500 and 443 ft·lb (600 N·m) between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm.[2]
Platform[]
The Giulia Quadrifoglio uses a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout with a neutral 50%/50% weight distribution. It is equipped with a six-speed "ZF S6-53" manual transmission in Forza, although it is also available with an eight-speed "ZF 8HP75" automatic transmission in real life.
Variants[]
Forza Edition[]
"In its Forza Edition dress and specially tuned for road ripping performance, this Giulia is a true work of art you won't be able to stop staring at, unless you are trying to keep up with it."—Official description[3]
The Forza Edition is a special variant in Forza Horizon 4. It has an Event Influence boost, an S1 900 upgrade pre-set and eight-speed transmission.
It is primarily unlockable as a Wheelspin prize, but has also been made available as a seasonal reward.
