"The Aston Martin brand was founded on motorsport when Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford began racing specials at Aston Hill near Aston Clinton in 1913. Since then, the manufacturer has competed in and won countless races. Aston Martin Racing has won more than fifty races since returning to competition in 2004. Those wins have come across all classes they have competed in, with a high point being a win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE-AM in 2017. The team went on to win the FIA-WEC GTE-AM class title in 2017 as well. Danish driver Christina Nielsen raced the #7 TRG-Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage in the GTA class in World Challenge in its Royal Purple/Orion livery. She is just one of the drivers that continue to make this prestigious brand respected both on the track and off."—forzamotorsport.net[1]
The 2017 Aston Martin #7 Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage GT3 - abbreviated as "#7 Aston GT3" - is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive GT3 race car by Aston Martin.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 7 as part of the Dell Gaming Car Pack and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
The V12 Vantage GT3 is a GT3 race car based on the V12 Vantage. The #7 Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage GT3 was driven by Danish driver Christina Nielsen in the GTA class in World Challenge.
Retaining the same AM28 5.9 L (5,935 cc) naturally aspirated V12 from the V12 Vantage, the V12 Vantage GT3's engine now makes 600 hp (447 kW) and 516 ft·lb (700 N·m). It still retains the 51% front weight bias of the V12 Vantage, though, along with a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout.
