The 1967 Aston Martin DBS - abbreviated as "AM DBS '67" - is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive grand tourer by Aston Martin.

It appears in Forza Motorsport (2023).

Synopsis[]

The DBS is a grand tourer designed as a successor to the Aston Martin DB6. Intended to have a more "modern" look, it featured a fastback style rear end and a squared off front grille, uncommon for Aston Martins at the time.

It was eventually phased out in favour of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, and in 2007 the name was resurrected for the Aston Martin DBS.

Performance[]

It features a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated straight-six engine, and paired to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission, delivers 280 hp (209 kW) at 4,500 rpm and 390 ft·lb (529 N·m) of torque at 3,850 rpm.

It also received a 5.3-liter V8 engine variant in September 1969, at the time becoming the fastest four-seater production car in the world.[1]
