"The new limited edition GT12 is where exclusivity and dynamic performance meet. Inspired by Aston Martin’s success in GT3 racing, there is little more one could ask for in a luxury sport coupe. This Vantage has been re-engineered taking in the experience and knowledge earned on the race track. It’s leaner by 220 pounds over the Vantage S, and boasts a significantly higher output as well. You will find the GT12 wider and lower with a prominent aero kit that not only screams racing, but also delivers substantial downforce to make cornering even more effortless. Aston Martin has made history in motorsport, and the GT12 gives you your own chance to drive a legend."—Official description[1]
The 2016 Aston Martin Vantage GT12 - abbreviated as "Vantage GT12", "AM Vantage '16" or "AM GT12 '15" - is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car by Aston Martin.
It appears in Forza Horizon 3 and all subsequent main series titles.
Synopsis[]
The GT12 is an extreme, limited-production version of the V12 Vantage S, limited to only 100 units. Originally named the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, it was renamed after Porsche complained over the use of the "GT3" moniker. Despite this, a proper GT3 version of the V12 Vantage still exists, named the V12 Vantage GT3.[2]
It is equipped with a powered-up variant of the AM28 5935 cc naturally aspirated V12, with a power output of 593 hp (442 kW) and a torque output of 461 ft·lb (625 N·m). Its exterior and interior have been extensively reworked, with track-ready modifications such as a fixed rear wing and a revised front fascia. Weight-saving measures give the car a weight of 3450 lb (1565 kg).
