Powered by the first production V12 diesel engine and boasting 494 hp (368 kW) and 738 ft·lb (1001 N·m) of torque, the Q7 V12 TDI was designed to be Audi's halo car of its diesel lineup.
The Q7 V12 TDI was offered in Europe from 2008 to 2012 as the most expensive car in Audi's model lineup.[2]
