The 2011 Audi RS 3 Sportback is an all-wheel drive hot hatch by Audi that appears in the November Speed Pack for Forza Motorsport 4 and in all subsequent main titles of the Forza series except Forza Horizon.
Synopsis
Following the debut of the first generation Audi TT RS, the RS 3 Sportback was the second high performance RS badged sports compact to be released by Audi. Due to sharing its platform with the TT RS, it features all-wheel drive and a turbocharged inline-five motor but offered in a hatchback body style.
It was only produced from 2011 to 2012 and reintroduced in 2015 as a part of the third generation Audi A3 model series.
The RS 3 Sportback has a 2.5L (2,480 cc) inline-five engine with turbocharging and direct injection that features 335 hp (250 kW) from 5400 to 6500 rpm and strong low-end torque, which is 332 ft·lb (450 N·m) from 1600 to 5300 rpm.
Combined with all-wheel drive and a weight of 3472 lb (1575 kg), it can launch from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds as well 0 to 100 mph in 11.7 seconds. With such acceleration times, the RS 3 competes against the most powerful hot hatches and even comes close to other RS cars such as the RS 4 in that field.
