What emerged from the Neckarsulum facility in Germany was a game-changer. Residing under the hood is a version of the V10 engine shared with the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Audi R8 supercar, but inhaling through a pair of turbochargers to produce an eye-watering 570 horsepower. Despite the V10 residing in these other cars, this is the most powerful version of the engine and the highest-rated output of any Audi thus far. The 2009 Audi RS 6 - abbreviated as "Audi RS 6 '09" - is an all-wheel drive executive car by Audi.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 3 as part of the AutoWeek Car Show Pack and all subsequent Motorsport series titles except Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Motorsport (2023).
It also appears in Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
The 2009 RS 6 is the second iteration of the Audi RS 6, which is based on the C6 generation Audi A6. It is powered by a Lamborghini-derived 5.0-litre V10 engine that has been fitted with twin turbochargers that increase power to 570 hp (425 kW).[2]
The 2009 RS 6 ended production in 2010 and was followed up by the C7 generation RS 6 Avant in 2013.
