The 2015 Audi S1 is an all-wheel drive supermini by Audi.
It appears in Forza Horizon 2 as part of the IGN Car Pack and all subsequent main series titles.
Synopsis[]
The S1 rivals against the Mini John Cooper Works GP and other supermini hot hatches. It began production in 2014 and is available as a three-door or five-door hatchback.
Engine and drivetrain[]
It uses the EA 888 codenamed engine from the Volkswagen Golf GTI hot hatch, a two litre turbocharged inline-four with 228 hp (170 kW) and 273 ft·lb (370 N·m) of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.8 seconds and only needs 14 seconds from 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h). The S1 has a six-speed manual transmission, a rare feature among modern Audi S cars, and reaches at least 155 mph (249 km/h) as top speed.[2]
Platform[]
The S1 is equipped with all-wheel drive, which provides more traction than its front-wheel drive competitors but also adds more complexity to the chassis. As a result, the S1 weighs 2899 lb (1315 kg), making it somewhat heavy for a supermini, although it also has only 60% of its weight up front.
