Austin-Healey is a British car manufacturer featured in Forza Motorsport 4, Forza Horizon 4, Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Austin-Healey was established in 1952 as a partnership between the Austin division of the British Motor Company and the Donald Healey Motor Company;[1] this agreement was set to last twenty years.
BMC would be engaged in a number of buyouts, ultimately merging with Jaguar to form the short-lived British Motor Holdings, with Donald Healey of Healey leaving his own company to join Jensen Motors, eventually becoming their chairman. The agreement between Austin and Healey came to an end in 1972 and the last cars were produced that year.
The rights to the Austin-Healey name are currently held by Nanjing Automobile (Group) Corporation, current owners of MG, who announced a partnership with HFI Automotive to recreate the Healey and Austin-Healey marques;[2] while MG has since re-entered the market, no word has been heard since about the Healey and Austin-Healey marques.
