The 2016 BMW M2 Coupé (abbreviated as either BMW M2 or BMW M2 '16), is a front-engined sports car that appears in Forza Horizon 3 as part of the The Smoking Tire Car Pack and in Forza Motorsport 7 as standard.
The F87-codenamed BMW M2, the successor to the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, is a high performance variant of the BMW 2-Series. It was unveiled in October 2015 and began production in late 2015. It made its world debut at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan.[2]
Specifications
The BMW M2 uses a 3.0 L (2,979 cc) twin-turbo inline-6 engine, codenamed N55B30T0, with power at 365 hp (272 kW) at 6,500 rpm and torque at 369 ft·lb (500 N·m) at 1,450 - 4,750 rpm.
The BMW M2 can be equipped with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. With the former gearbox, 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) acceleration takes place in 4.4 seconds; with the latter gearbox, the same acceleration occurs in 4.2 seconds. The M2's initial top speed is 155 mph (250 km/h), but can be raised up to 168 mph (270 km/h) as an option.
