"Here is BMW’s recipe for the M2 Coupé. First, take the suspension and braking of the larger M3 and M4 and fit them in a lighter and more nimble chassis. Then, rather than attempting to imitate the bigger brothers’ powerplants, just take the best parts and infuse them perfectly. The result is a rousing sonorous automotive event that will ring all the bells and checks all the boxes. Sometimes good things come in smaller packages, and in the case of the M2 it’s dead true."
—Official description[1]

The 2016 BMW M2 Coupé, abbreviated as BMW M2 or BMW M2 '16, is a front-engined sports car by BMW that appears in Forza Horizon 3 as part of the The Smoking Tire Car Pack, and in all subsequent Forza titles.

Synopsis

The F87-codenamed BMW M2, the successor to the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, is a high-performance variant of the BMW 2 Series. It was unveiled in October 2015 and began production in late 2015.

The M2 uses a 2979 cc twin-turbocharged inline-six engine codenamed N55B30T0, with power at 365 hp (272 kW) at 6500 rpm and torque at 369 ft·lb (500 N·m) from 1450 to 4750 rpm. It is featured in the Forza series with a six-speed manual gearbox.
