The 2015 BMW i8 is an all-wheel drive hybrid supercar by BMW.
It appears in Forza Horizon 3 as part of the Rockstar Energy Car Pack, and as standard in all subsequent Forza titles.
Synopsis[]
The i8, internally codenamed I12, is a plug-in hybrid supercar developed by BMW for its hybrid model range "BMW i." It is BMW's first road-going mid-engined car since the BMW M1 and is heavily inspired by the BMW M1 Hommage concept car.
The i8 is also unique in that it is one of the few mid-engined cars that uses a 2+2 configuration, with another being the Lotus Evora.
Its powerplant includes a 1499 cc turbocharged inline-three engine codenamed B38A15T0 along with a hybrid electric synchronous motor. The combustion engine produces 228 hp (170 kW) at 5800 rpm and 236 ft·lb (320 N·m) of torque at 3700 rpm, and outputs a total of 357 hp (266 kW) and the 420 ft·lb (570 N·m) of torque with the electric motor.

The BMW i8 can do 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) within 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed that is electronically restricted to 155 mph (250 km/h), although in the Forza titles, its performance is different: 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.6 seconds, 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h) in 9 seconds, and a top speed of at least 194 mph (312 km/h).
