The 2017 Bentley #17A LIQUI MOLY M-Sport Continental GT3 - abbreviated as "#17 Bentley GT3" - is a GT3 race car by Bentley.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 7.
Synopsis[]
Based on the second generation Bentley Continental and designed by M-Sport, the Continental GT3 was unveiled at the 2013 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It sports the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as the V8 version of the road car, but with power now rated at 600 hp (447 kW) and torque at 531 ft·lb (720 N·m). The car would make its debut at the 2013 edition of the Gulf 12 Hours.[1]
The #17A would only take part in two events, the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Bathurst 12 Hour as a part of the APP (GT3 Pro) class. The crew for the 2017 race would consist of Oliver Jarvis, Steven Kane, and Guy Smith, the endurance round crew for the #7 car from that year's GT Series. It also had a sibling car, the #8, which contained the other GT Series endurance round crew. The #17 would end up on both the overall and class podiums, finishing 3rd in the former and 2nd in the latter, while the #8 would finish 12th overall and 5th in class.[2]
For the 2018 race, the #17 crew would once again be the same as that year's GT Series #7 crew, with Jules Gounon replacing Jarvis. The #8 on the other hand, which had been renumbered to the #18, retained the same crew as the previous year due to the #8 GT Series trio not changing. Neither car would manage to match their success from the previous year, as the #17 would finish #16 overall and 6th in class, while the #18 would suffer a tire failure and get stuck in a sand trap.[3]

Trivia[]
- In official records for the Bathurst 12 Hour, the car is noted as just the #17. In the Bathurst 12 Hour, the numbers shown on the sides of cars include a letter indicating what major class the car is in. The Bentley number contains an A as that letter denotes the car as a GT3 entry.
