The 2014 Bentley #17 M-Sport Bentley Continental GT3 - abbreviated as "Bentley #17 C" - is a GT3 race car by Bentley.
It appears in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Based on the second generation Bentley Continental and designed by M-Sport, the Continental GT3 was unveiled at the 2013 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It sports the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as the V8 version of the road car, but with power now rated at 600 hp (447 kW) and torque at 531 ft·lb (720 N·m). The car would make its debut at the 2013 edition of the Gulf 12 Hours.[1]
The #17 took part in the GT3 class as a part of the 2014 British GT Championship season. The car was originally meant to be driven by Steven Kane and Humaid Al Masaood, however due to other personal commitments, Rembert Berg would fill in for Al Masaood for the car's first three races.[2] The car would get off to a good start with an 8th place in the first race at Oulton Park, but then would follow this up with a 17th place in the second race. The team would then skip the race at Rockingham, but would return for the Silverstone 500 where they would get their best finish during the season of 4th. Unfortunately, once Al Masaood and Berg swapped, the car would alternate between retirements and finishes outside the top 10, failing to pick up another point. Kane and Berg would end up 29th in the championship, while Al Masaood would not be classified.[3]
