"This might be the most beautiful 5,000-plus pounds of metal and awesome you will ever see. Here’s a luxury car dripping in opulence that can take a down a supercar on the drag strip. The Continental GT is a car that bathes you in ultimate comfort while hurtling you to triple digit speeds in isolation chamber-like silence. The GT features double-pane windows and nothing less than the finest materials and workmanship throughout. Sadly, most real-world Bentley owners will never unleash the gut-wrenching power of the 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 under the hood but, rest assured, when the accelerator is depressed, face-warping speed isn’t far behind. As with most luxury coupes, the Continental GT is most at home on a long stretch of highway. The Continental GT is not meant to corner like a sports car, but its AWD will pull it through an apex with style and flair."—Official description[1]
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed - abbreviated as "Bentley CGT" or "Bentley Cont '13" - is an all-wheel drive grand tourer by Bentley.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 5 as part of the Bondurant Car Pack and as standard in all subsequent main series titles up to Forza Horizon 4.
Synopsis[]
The Continental GT Speed debuted for the 2014 model year as a high-end trim level of the second generation Bentley Continental that was produced from 2011 to 2018.
Capable of hitting 207 mph (333 km/h) as top speed, it was officially claimed to be fastest production Bentley on its debut. Its record was later surpassed by the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports.[2]
Performance[]
Ranked in A class on most Forza titles, the Continental GT Speed counts as one of the fastest cars in this group, being capable of 207 mph (333 km/h) as top speed. Despite a high weight of 5115 lb (2320 kg), the GT Speed maintains grip well on corners thanks to its all-wheel drive, which allows it to launch from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in four seconds with little wheelspin. Overall, the GT Speed is versatile for both asphalt and offroad routes, with its biggest strengths being speed and steady handling.
Upgrade preset[]
The Continental GT Speed can be customized with an upgrade preset in Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Horizon 4 that adds a full body kit similar to the Bentley Continental GT3. It greatly improves the handling of the car at the cost of top speed.
Variants[]
Forza Edition[]
The Forza Edition - abbreviated as Bentley Cont FE - is an upgraded Track Toy variant in Forza Horizon 4 featuring a Clean Skills boost and an S1 900 upgrade preset. It comes with a GT3-inspired widebody kit, RWD conversion and white paint design.
It is unlockable as a Horizon Wheelspin prize and as a seasonal reward.
Performance[]
The Forza Edition comes with a RWD conversion and significant aero upgrades, increasing lateral Gs to 1.44 at 60 mph (97 km/h) and to 1.64 at 120 mph (193 km/h). Both values are evident of the car's strong handling, although at the cost of top speed, which has been reduced to 187 mph (301 km/h).
