"This muscle car can hold its own against juiced up four-cylinder imports. If one ever saw defeat at the hands of a another car, the owner still need only lean against the fender and receive the compliments of all who heard its V8 thunder."—Official description[1]

Trivia[]
- It is featured in the "Signature Performance" Weekly Forzathon Challenge in Forza Horizon 4.
- The 1969 Camaro has some model differences in the Forza series:
- In all titles before Forza Motorsport 5, excluding the Xbox 360 release of Forza Horizon 2, it has a vinyl roof with concealed headlights from the Rally Sport (RS) package.
- In all titles since Forza Motorsport 5, it has no concealed headlight and a steel roof.
- Similar to other Chevrolet SS branded cars, it does not have SS badges since Forza Motorsport 6.
- In all titles, it lacks the cowl vents on the hood from the real life car.
- In Forza Motorsport 4, a special design variant of Camaro SS Coupe was released as a reward for beating the wrestler Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in a time trial.
