The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 - also known as "2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS ZL1" and abbreviated as "Chevy Camaro '12" - is a rear-wheel drive sports car by Chevrolet.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the August Playseat Car Pack and all subsequent titles up to Forza Horizon 2, although it also appears in Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Street.
Synopsis[]
The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 sports a supercharged 6.2L (6,162 cc) LSA V8 engine with a 1.9L supercharger at 7 psi of boost, with the total output of 580 hp (433 kW) and 557 ft·lb (755 N·m) making it the most powerful fifth-generation Camaro model. Power is sent to the rear wheels by either a six-speed manual TR-6060 or an automatic 6L90.
Power is complemented by exclusive performance technologies, including third generation Magnetic Ride suspension and Performance Traction Management, originally used in the C6 Corvette ZR1. Brakes consist of Brembo brake calipers with six pistons per wheel in the front and four pistons per wheel in the back. Damping is provided by Magnetic Ride Control units similar to those used by Cadillac and Corvette models.
