"With the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport on October 10, the Horizon Festival will celebrate by rewarding anyone who plays Forza Motorsport with the fastest Corvette ever created: the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray. The E-Ray is a true freak of speed, its petrol-powered engine in combination with its electric drive unit, gives it a rampaging total 655 horsepower. Its potency matches any test you put it through, it can reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and it's capable of completing a quarter mile in a measly 10.5 seconds."—Official description[1]
The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray is a mid-engine, all-wheel drive hybrid supercar by Chevrolet.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 25 and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
The Corvette E-Ray is a performance hybrid version of the C8 Corvette. It was unveiled on January 17, 2023 and is slated to enter production mid-2024.
Despite having the same 6.2-liter V8 engine of the regular Corvette, it features all-wheel drive layout and hybrid drivetrain, with both aspects being a first in a Corvette.[2]
It is claimed by Chevrolet to be the quickest Corvette ever made, reaching a combined horsepower of 655 hp (488 kW) with a 10.5-second quarter-mile time and a 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time of 2.5 seconds.[3]
It also features a Stealth Mode, an all-electric mode with a speed limit of 45 mph (72 km/h), designed for a quiet drive in urban areas.
