The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a front-engined sports car featured in Forza Motorsport 2, Forza Motorsport 3, and Forza Motorsport 4. It was replaced by the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 in newer titles.
Synopsis[]
Named after the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport race car, the 1996 Grand Sport was introduced in 1996 shortly before the production end of the C4 Corvette. Planned as a final send-off for the C4 Corvette, it was exclusively available in a special paint job including white and red stripe graphics, and a redesigned small-block V8 engine with 330 hp (246 kW).[1]
The Grand Sport name was reintroduced in 2010 for the C6 Corvette.
