"There’s rare, and then there’s the Devon GTX. Just two prototypes were produced, and while that means it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever see a Devon roaming your neighborhood, you can certainly enjoy what the GTX has to offer in Forza. Which is a lot, because under that contrasting-striped hood resides a 8.4-liter V10 lifted from the Dodge parts bin, better known as the tarmac-melting heart of the Dodge Viper. In GTX tune, it makes even more horsepower, to complement the Devon’s unique look. That sleek and unusual body was the work of the man behind the company, Scott Devon, and a Swedish designer named Daniel Paulin. Their collaboration is truly beautiful, because in a world where “retro touches” is usually code for an overdone throwback mess, the GTX does manage to incorporate classic proportions while staying completely unique—the seamless headlights, hood strip, and contrasting fender accents are unlike pretty much anything else on the road. As you can imagine from the size of the engine, the “show” also comes with a healthy serving of “go,” with 650 horsepower on tap the GTX can dispatch 60 mph in well under four seconds with a decent launch. Few cars combine the Devon GTX’s performance and looks, so enjoy the opportunity to experience this rare and beautiful beast."—Official description[1]
