The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat (abbreviated as Challenger '15) is a muscle car featured in Forza Motorsport 6 and all subsequent installments.
Forza Horizon 3 also features two special variants of the Challenger Hellcat: the Pre-Order car, available to players who pre-ordered the game from GameStop; and the Horizon Edition.
The Challenger Hellcat is a high-powered version of the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, with a 6.2L supercharged V8 shared with the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
Characteristics
The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat features a supercharged 6.2L (6,166 cc) HEMI V8 engine, with power at 707 hp (527 kW) and 650 ft·lb (881 N·m). This same engine is also seen in the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. The Challenger Hellcat loses its inner driving light on the left front in order to allow air into the engine, adding more torque, and the Hellcat uses different wheel wells to accommodate its new 20-inch aluminum wheels. Two separate key fobs determine how much power the Hellcat can produce; the "black" fob has a 500 hp (373 kW) restriction, while the "red" fob removes that restriction altogether.
The Challenger Hellcat uses a new eight-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission. The Challenger SRT Hellcat is capable of a 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
Special Variants
In Forza Motorsport 6, two special versions of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Battletoads Edition and Team Forza variant, were only available as pre-order bonuses.
In Forza Horizon 3, there is a special, tuned version of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Horizon Edition. It features a Drift Skills boost, black body paint, aftermarket rims, and upgraded performance to Class S1. It can only be obtained via the Horizon Wheelspin or the Auction House.

- The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat's PI was reduced in the April 5, 2016 update for Forza Motorsport 6 in order to make way for the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat: it now has a PI of A 616, with its weight heavily increased from 4160 lb (1887 kg) to 4438 lb (2013 kg), a total weight gain of 278 lb (126 kg). Consequently, while its acceleration has been slightly increased, its braking and handling have now suffered as a result of the increased weight.
- Players who already obtained the car prior to the update will still have the car ranked at A 627 if they don't reset upgrades. This is assuming the car has not been upgraded yet.
- Since Forza Horizon 3, the 6.2L Hemi V8 found in the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat can be swapped onto certain American cars in the series. It is named "6.2L V8 - DSC" in Forza Horizon 3 and "6.2L V8 - SC" in Forza Motorsport 7.
