Drift Club 2.0 is a Horizon Story in Forza Horizon 4 consisting of seven chapters introduced with Update Four. This is a follow-up story to Drift Club. The Fortune Island expansion is required to access this content. The story is unlocked upon reaching Round 3 of the Island Conqueror.

Robert Glenn decides to expand his club to Fortune Island in the hopes of "claiming the island" for their use as their permanent headquarters, with "some rather high profile and talented members" deciding to lend him cars for their use.

At the end of the event, Rob gleefully declares Fortune Island the new Drift Club headquarters, unofficially renaming it "Drift Island".

Chapters[]

#530 HSV Maloo Gen-F[]

"Josh Robinson's Pro2 car, the HSV Maloo Gen-F. I've identified a fairly tame route for you to go out and get the tires warmed up. A perfect introduction to drifting on the island."
—Synopsis

On arrival, Rob feels the player wonders as to why he's on Fortune Island, before jokingly saying that he had taken an interest in history and archaeology. After telling the player the real reason as to why he's on the island, he then remarks that "some rather high profile and talented members have been kind enough to lend him their cars". He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Josh Robinson's Horsepower Factory HSV Maloo, and talks about its specifications and performance, before telling the player it is time to go.

As Rob flags off, he starts to comment on how the player should drift, before remembering that they should know all these things already and backs off. The player then has some 2 minutes to reach Oldlarch Forest while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob gives some context as to why the car is set up like it is. On arrival at the forest, Rob tells the player that "they'll have a Drift Club thriving on Fortune Island in no time, if only they could figure out where to photocopy the flyers".

#777 Nissan 240SX[]

"This one is Matt Field's old Formula D car, the '97 Nissan 240SX. With 1250 BHP going through the rear axle, it's actually maintaining some traction that's the problem, rather than losing it."
—Synopsis

Rob quips to the player that he is thinking about making Fortune Island Drift Club's permanent headquarters, and that he'll "send some letters". He then introduces their ride for the day: Matt Field's Drift Cave Motorsports Nissan 240SX, and talks about its specifications and performance, with Rob saying that Field doesn't race his 240SX any more, "but heaven knows why".

As Rob flags off, the player has some 2 minutes to reach Westwick while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob gives some context as to why the car is set up like it is. #98 BMW 325i[]

"Andy Hateley's Pro2 car, the BMW 325i. It's got a 6.2 liter V8, and I've got just the route for it - I'm actually putting together a piece for the newsletter that's just about these switchbacks."
—Synopsis

Rob gleefully tells the player that had spoken to the Festival personnel and the local authorities and that they had allowed the idea of making Fortune Island the permanent headquarters of Drift Club, "if they can pull this off"; he remarks that they may let Drift Club rename it as well. He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Andy Hateley's Hateley Motorsports BMW 325i, and talks about its specifications and performance, with Rob saying that the car has one massive advantage; that the player is going to be the one driving it.

As Rob flags off, the player has some 3 minutes and 20 seconds to reach the foot of the Needle Climb while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob talks about the car's steering angle, but recommends that the player "tries not to pitch it over a cliff". On arrival at the foot of the Needle Climb, Rob remarks that he is quite serious about making Fortune Island the permanent headquarters of Drift Club, and wonders about "how they're going to top this place".

#118 Nissan 240SX[]

"Alec Hohnadell's Formula D car, the '95 Nissan 240SX. This route isn't always a natural home for drifting - there is a bit of gravel and dirt, but flinging it sideways when you have a 200m sheer drop to your right does add that extra bit of bite."
—Synopsis

Rob states that their plan of taking over Fortune Island is on hold, and that they are going back to what they do best; "arguing over the tiniest details of drift engineering", for the moment at least. He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Alec Hohnadell's Hohnadell-Huddy Racing Nissan 240SX, and talks about its specifications and performance, with Rob remarking that the player has to prove that the car "is as much finesse as is flat-out power".

As Rob flags off, the player has some 3 minutes and 40 seconds to reach the Needle Climb by drifting around Laufey's Throne while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob talks about the car's suspension. On arrival at the Needle Climb, Rob remarks that the player has proven that power is not the most important thing in a drift setup, but cheekily remarks that they're likely going to argue about it anyway.

#43 Dodge Viper[]

"Dean Kearney's Formula D car, the Dodge Viper SRT10. At 1350 BHP it's on the more powerful end of the spectrum. Let's see how you go on this route that takes in the switchbacks, before finishing in front of the grandstands at the Festival."
—Synopsis

Rob remarks to the player that Fortune Island will be swamped with new Drift Clubbers in no time with "the way people have been watching their videos". He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Dean Kearney's Bridges Racing Dodge Viper, and talks about its specifications and performance, with Rob remarking that the player has to be "careful where they point it" due to its power.

As Rob flags off, the player has some 4 minutes and 10 seconds to reach the Festival while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob gives humorous remarks about Kearney and talks about how terrifying his car is. On arrival at the Festival, Rob states that he has a large shipment of replacement tires coming over on the next boat.

—Synopsis

Rob wonders about whether the player is enjoying Fortune Island, and remarks that he enjoys the "isolation and solitude" of the area, having bought stacks of aftermarket parts catalogs to read. He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Justin Pawlak's Pawlak Racing Ford Mustang, and talks about its specifications and performance, with Rob remarking that the player don't tell Pawlak that the car is still in the highest weight class in Formula D for he is "very sensitive about it".

As Rob flags off, the player has some 5 minutes and 40 seconds to reach Skildar Head by drifting up the Needle Climb while accumulating a certain amount of drift points, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob talks about the car's transmission. On arrival at the Festival, Rob wonders if this should be a feature in the regular newsletter or if he needs to start another newsletter just for Fortune Island Drift Clubbers.

#232 Nissan 240SX[]

"Corey Hosford's Formula D car, the '96 Nissan 240SX. A 7 liter V8 with 1150 BHP! This route is a monster - a sideways tour of the entire island."
—Synopsis

Rob remarks to the player that he thought about making Fortune Island their permanent headquarters, having brought up the idea to Horizon and the executive committee of the Drift Club, and would take it to the local council "if they knew where they were based". He then introduces to the player their ride for the day: Corey Hosford's Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, and talks about its specifications and performance, along with making a slight jab at its performance compared to other drift-tuned 240SXes.

As Rob flags off, the player has some 9 minutes and 20 seconds to drift around the entire island while accumulating a certain amount of drift points before routing back to Skildar Head, with Rob commenting on their progress at certain milestones and occasionally giving flattering comments; as the player drifts, Rob admits that he had never seen a Formula Drift event live and is just friends with the seven drivers through the Internet. On arrival at the Skildar Head, Rob gleefully declares Fortune Island their new permanent headquarters, and renames the island "Drift Island"; although he laments that this was not an official rename as the island can only be called that on the Drift Club website and between members, Rob says that "it still counts".
