Ferrari is an Italian car manufacturer featured in every Forza title.

Synopsis[]

"Ferrari is a legendary name. For over 60 years, this elite Italian manufacturer has built some of the world's fastest and most beautiful cars, and has won innumerable races. Founder Enzo Ferrari drove his first race in 1919, and started Scuderia Ferrari in 1929. This famous racing stable sponsored amateur drivers, many competing in cars built by Alfa Romeo. In 1947, he founded Ferrari S.p.A. and started producing the string of stunning cars and racing victories that continues today. In a sense, Ferrari's intent was to build a race car that could also be used on the street, but from the beginning his company built sports and Grand Touring cars to finance its racing efforts. The first postwar Ferrari, the sleek Tipo 125S roadster, was powered by a 1.5-liter V12, and started Ferrari's long record of racing victories. In 1950, the Formula One World Championship series began, and Ferrari soon won the first of 14 championships in the series to date. These victories and many more at Le Mans and elsewhere have added to the fervor of Ferrari fans (dubbed 'Tifosi' in Italian). Famous Ferraris include the GTO, Testa Rossa, Dino, Maranello, F40, F50, and the Enzo. Leading designers and coachbuilders have always created striking skins to cover the exotic skeletons of these cars, and Ferrari continues to offer an outstanding blend of technical and aesthetic excellence."
—Official description[1]
"A Ferrari is built for one purpose - performance. The gold standard of high-end machines, Ferrari has been the dominate force in racing for the last 80 years. Their founder, Enzo Ferrari, used to live above his workshop so he could constantly improve on his cars. Enzo Ferrari's flare for the dramatic lives on as well; with each race car emblazoned in trademark Ferrari red. The Ferrari team owns most of the major formula one racing records, but their winning ways extend beyond the track. Their bold looks and winning history have made Ferrari the most powerful brand in the world. Ahead of corporate juggernauts like Apple and Samsung. This potent combination of success and style has also made owning a Ferrari the ultimate dream for racing fans across the globe."

Founded by Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari manufactures high-performance sports cars and supercars, with the LaFerrari and 488 Pista being its most powerful and fastest road-legal models ever made. Its current model range consists of the V8-engined 488 and Portofino, and the V12-engined 812 Superfast, GTC4Lusso. Ferrari also has a rich racing history, with most of their races being in Formula One.
