"A new Ferrari is always cause for celebration, and you can still hear the cheers from fans of the 458. Little wonder: the Prancing Pony went above and beyond the call with this gorgeous example of road-devouring art. The 458 produces 562 horsepower and a top speed over 200 mph, giving it the kind of performance you normally only see on the world’s greatest race tracks."
—Official description (Forza Horizon)[1]

The 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia, abbreviated as Ferrari 458, is a RWD supercar by Ferrari that debuted in Forza Motorsport 3 as part of the Hot Holidays Car Pack, and is featured in all subsequent main series titles.

It was available as part of the Pre-Order Car Pack in Forza Horizon.

Synopsis

The 458 Italia is the successor to the Ferrari F430 that entered production in 2009 for the 2010 model year.

It is powered by a 4.5L (4,499 cc) V8, codenamed F136 F, that outputs 562 hp (419 kW) at 9000 rpm and 398 ft·lb (540 N·m) of torque at 6000 rpm. It is also equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic F1 transmission, making it the first mainstream Ferrari model without the option of a manual gearbox.

The 458 Italia was replaced by the Ferrari 488 GTB in 2015.
