The 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evolution - also known as "Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione"[2] and abbreviated as "Ferrari 599XX E" - is a track-only rear-wheel drive pre-tuned supercar by Ferrari.
It appears in Forza Horizon as part of the October Car Pack, in Forza Motorsport 7 as a free gift car with the 2019 February Update, in Forza Horizon 4 as a seasonal reward car with the Update 8 patch, and as standard in Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
The 599XX Evoluzione is an upgrade package for the Ferrari 599XX, sporting an additional 30 hp (22 kW) and aerodynamics upgrades including an active rear spoiler. It was available for the XX programme by Ferrari that allows clients to access new technology in exchange for first-hand feedback.[3]
Performance[]
With a stock top speed of 240 mph (386 km/h), which is 33 mph (53 km/h) higher than on the standard 599XX, the 599XX Evolution counts as one of the fastest S2 cars in Forza Horizon 4. It also has very good handling at high speeds, making it ideal for Speed Zone and Speed Trap PR Stunts.
If maxed-out while using a fully upgraded drivetrain and engine, AWD swap as well as rally suspension, players can tune the car to hit 320 mph (515 km/h) as top speed, surpassing a fully upgraded Mosler MT900S that can hit 294 mph (473 km/h) as maximum. Therefore the 599XX Evolution becomes the fastest car in Forza Horizon 4 with the aforementioned tune.[4]
