"Built specifically for the 2006 SEMA show, the Ford GTX1 was crafted by Mark Gerisch of Genaddi Design. The look that is created takes the Ford GT body to an exotic new level."—Official description[1]
The 2006 Ford GTX1 is an open top rear-wheel drive supercar by Ford.
It appears in Forza Horizon as part of the December IGN Car Pack.
Synopsis[]
The GTX1 is an open-top roadster variant of the Ford GT, and it was displayed at the 2005 SEMA Auto Show.
It carries many of the same internal workings of the GT, retaining the 5.4L twin-screw supercharged Ford Modular V8 engine with 550 hp (410 kW) and 500 ft·lb (678 N·m), and the six-speed manual transmission that delivers power to the rear wheels.
As a roadster, the GTX1 carries noticeable exterior differences from the GT, particularly the rear half of the car, the removable roof, and the rims.
