"One of humankind’s most terrifying mythological creatures is coming soon to the Horizon Festival: A Mustang with the venomous fangs of a Cobra. The 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is a supercharged monster of a car; it has been fitted with a 4.6-liter V-8 engine that puts 390 horsepower that includes an Eaton blower to give it the bump in power the Cobra needed to outperform its 2001 sibling. Strategic changes to the Cobra’s build were made to enhance its performance. To handle its brutal power, the SVT had to replace its aluminum cast engine with an iron cast one to improve durability. On the other hand, aluminum replaced heavier metals to reduce its acceleration times that clock in with a 0 – 100 kmh of 4.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds. With an exterior built to let in cool air from almost anywhere and that invites you to do some serious racing, the SVT Cobra is an accelerating experience you cannot miss."—Official description[1]
