The 2020 Ford Super Duty F-450 DRW Platinum - abbreviated as "Ford SD F-450" - is a front-engine, all-wheel drive heavy-duty truck manufactured by Ford.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
The fourth-generation Super Duty line launched in 2017, following a reveal in September 2015 at the State Fair of Texas, with a selection of pickup truck and chassis cab options. A refresh of the generation for 2020 was first shown in February 2019 at the Chicago Auto Show.
Although offered with a regular cab (2 doors) and an extended super cab (2 doors + 2 coach doors), the Platinum trim is only offered with a crew cab (4 doors) and is the highest available specification. Alongside equipment fitted to the XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch trims, the Platinum has 20-inch wheels, for lights, a remote tailgate with steps, blind spot monitoring, powered running boards, and adaptive steering.
At over 6.7 metres long, 2.4 metres wide, and 2 metres tall, it is desired for its hauling and towing capability; of which it can tow up to a maximum of 24200 lb (10977 kg), nearly three times its curb weight.
