"Another car built and rebuilt for drifting competition, the infamous 599-based drift machine sports a V12 900+ hp engine with twin turbochargers and widebody kit, emphasis on the WIDE. The base car is already a beast, but the kit it has been outfitted with for drift competition just adds on to its dimensions. This 599 made its debut in the 2018 Formula Drift season, driven by Federico Sceriffo who nicknamed it “Fiorella”."—Official description[1]
The 2007 Formula Drift #117 599 GTB Fiorano - abbreviated as "Formula D 599" - is an rear-wheel drive drift car by Formula Drift and Ferrari.
It appears in Forza Horizon 4 since Update 21 and Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
Nicknamed "Fiorella", the #117 599 GTB Fiorano is a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano converted to drift specifications by professional drifter Federico Sceriffo.
Drivetrain[]
The V12 engine was upgraded to 917 hp (684 kW) by using twin positive-displacement superchargers, making the #117 #599 one of the most powerful Formula Drift cars in Forza. The standard semi-automatic F1 transmission was replaced by a Hollinger six-speed sequential unit.
Platform[]
At 3208 lb (1455 kg), the #117 599 is the heaviest Formula Drift car in Forza. Due to the front mid-engine and rear transaxle, it has a rear-biased 47/53 weight distribution.
In order to increase the steering angle, custom control arms, Öhlins coilover suspension and wide fenders were fitted to the car.[2]
