The 2017 Formula Drift #357 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, abbreviated as "#357 Corvette", is a high-performance drift car based on a C7 generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and driven by Joao Barion as the #357 car in Formula Drift.
Synopsis[]
Based on a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Joao Barion first competed with his Babrus C7 at the 2019 Super Drift Brasil event before debuting in the 2019 Formula Drift season. He competed with minimal modifications to pass entry requirements, alongside fitting an angle kit and a Nitrous Express nitrous-oxide kit.
Following the 2019 season, the mostly stock Corvette was overhauled for the 2020 Formula Drift season. Dubbed "version 2.0", the stock supercharged LT4 engine was rebuilt by Thompson Motorsport with Darton sleeved blocks, a Spec twin-disc clutch, an Injepro ECU, a Callies Magnum crankshaft, CP-Carrillo Bullet series piston rods, and Diamond Racing pistons.
