The 1975 Forsberg Racing Nissan "Gold Leader" Datsun 280Z - abbreviated as "Datsun 280Z" - is a pre-tuned sports car built by Chris Forsberg under the Forsberg Racing label.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Formula Drift Pack on November 9, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Based on a 1975 Datsun 280Z, "Gold Leader" is a build by Chris Forsberg and is a modified restoration built to his specifications. Instead of the regular 2.8L inline-six engine, a 2.5L inline-six engine developed by Nissan and fitted into the R33 generation Skyline GTS-25t, although the engine swap was performed long before Chris Forsberg purchased his 280Z.[1]
Alongside the more powerful engine, "Gold Leader" has a custom exhaust system, a carbon fibre intake manifold, and a Mishimoto cooling system. Suspension alterations were also made to Forsberg's specifications, with T3 components setup by Drift Car Dynamics, and four-piston Wilwood brake calipers.
