Forza Edition cars are upgraded cars with game progression boosts in Forza Horizon 4.
Unlike their standard counterparts, Forza Editions cannot be bought in the Autoshow, as they are primarily unlocked as Horizon Wheelspin prizes, although various cars are only unlockable by purchasing a certain Car Mastery perk from specific cars or are exclusive to VIP players.
Alternatively, most non-VIP cars are occasionally made unlockable as seasonal rewards following content updates or become available for purchase at the Forzathon Shop for the duration of a season.
Characteristics[]
Forza Edition cars contain 16 purchasable Car Mastery perks, and can have one of the following boost types as perk:
- Clean Skills - Increase Clean Racing Skill points
- Credits - Increase credit rewards
- Destruction - Increase Destruction Skill points
- Drift Skills - Increase Drift and E-Drift Skill points
- Event Influence - Increase Event Influence point rewards
- Skills - Increase Skill points
- Speed Skills - Increase Speed skill points
They also come with pre-installed upgrade presets, with most featuring a higher stock performance index than their standard counterparts and featuring engine swaps unavailable for the latter.
Visually, they are distinguished by carrying a black license plate with gold lettering, Forza Edition markings on tire sidewalls, and sometimes by featuring a flashy design.
