A Preorder Car - abbreviated as PO - is a downloadable upgraded car in Forza Horizon 4 that was made available for players for pre-ordering the title at certain retailers.

Players who have not pre-ordered the title could have bought any Preorder car through the Auction House, but since Update 21, Preorder cars have been blacklisted and can no longer be purchased or sold through the Auction House.

Preorder cars occasionally appear in Forzathon shop, mainly around Holidays.

Characteristics

Based on existing cars in the game, Preorder Cars come with upgrade presets that push the cars to the top of a car class. They also come with additional upgrades such as engine swaps that their stock counterparts are lacking, allowing them to achieve higher maximum performance figures than the latter.

Trivia

• The Mercedes-AMG GT R Preorder Car and Nissan GT-R Preorder Car were initially intended to be gifted to players who watched the September 2019 edition of the Forza Monthly livestream while logged into Mixer. However, as confirmed by Forza Support, technical difficulties transpired when gifting cars to everyone who watched the Forza Monthly show. This ultimately resulted in the decision to gift both vehicles to everyone in the game, regardless of whether they watched the stream or not. This also meant that players who correctly received their cars after the stream would be entitled to a duplication of the aforementioned cars.
