Series 39, dubbed "Back to the 90's", is the thirty-ninth Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 5 held between October 10, 2024 to November 7, 2024.
It followed on from Series 38: "Hidden Horizons", and was proceeded by Series 40: "Horizon Track Day" on November 7, 2024.
Players can earn points (PTS) from completing objectives listed in the Festival Playlist. These objectives can include completing the weekly Forzathon, events, PR Stunts, and challenges listed in the Festival Playlist. Completed objectives in the Festival Playlist are highlighted in gold.
Series 39[]
Series 39 has a total of 300 points available for completing objectives in each of the series' four seasons in the Festival Playlist. Earning 244 points is required to complete the Series.
As players earn points by completing objectives in a season, they can earn two rewards by accumulating a certain amount of points during each season, and can earn two rewards by accumulating a certain amount of points over an entire series.

The Horizon Backstage is a returning feature from Forza Horizon 4 which allows players to vote for and obtain cars not obtainable from the Autoshow that can be redeemed with a Backstage Pass. Players can earn a total of four Backstage Passes in Series 39 by earning 40 points in each season, with players also given the option to purchase a Backstage Pass through the Forzathon Shop for 1000 FP.
