Update 21.2 (Hotfix)[]

Update 21.2 was released for Forza Motorsport (2023) on June 30, 2025.

Version Number[]

  • Same as Update 21.1, no download required.

Bug Fixes and Improvements[]

Career[]

  • Fixed an issue in the Open Class Tour in Career where players are unable to replay a series due to a car select loop that can occur when attempting to restart the series.
    • Due to the nature of this change, some players may notice that their progress on individual Series within the Open Class Tour has been reset, however, Challenge completion progress towards completing the Tour and unlocking the Reward Car should persist.
  • Fixed an issue where Drivatar cars do not feature custom player liveries in Career Events even when the relevant option has been enabled.

Featured Multiplayer[]

  • The Multi-Class Series is now permanently available in the Semi-Open Events.
  • We’ve replaced rotating playlists within the Multi-Class Series with a static ABCS playlist.
  • Other multi-class events have been removed from the Semi-Open Events rotation, such as the 20th Anniversary Series, Porsche Multi-Class Series, BMW Challenge, and so on.
    • Developer’s Note: With Update 21, we experimented with a unique rotation of multi-class racing and special events. Since then, we’ve been reading your feedback and closely monitoring player concurrency in these events. Based on a combination of both factors, we’ve made the ABCS Multi-Class Series an evergreen series in Featured Multiplayer Open Events.

Meetups[]

  • Oval circuits have been removed from Track Voting within the Cycled Track Day Meetup. This change does not impact the dedicated Ovals Meetup.

  • Steam: 1.835.2356.0

Bug Fixes and Improvements[]

Audio[]

  • Fixed an issue with low volume car audio for the 2005 Honda NSX-R when under 5000 rpm.
  • Fixed an issue where the additional soundtrack pieces – which features a mix of classic and new, original music – introduced to the music playlist in Update 20 would not play in the main menu, and neither in pre-race nor post-race scenarios.
    • Developer’s Note: The next time you launch Forza Motorsport after downloading the hotfix, you will hear music from Forza Motorsport 3, 4, 5 and 6 as the first 5 music sets you hear in the game.
    • You will then hear one of the 3 new music sets. Once all 20 of the updated pieces have been played, the game will shuffle all songs and repeat.

Featured Multiplayer[]

  • Fixed an issue where a dirty lap symbol would unexpectedly appear next to clean qualifying lap times in Featured Multiplayer events.

Meetups[]

  • Ghosting has been enabled in Track Day Meetups for many of the same scenarios that can occur in Featured Multiplayer (driving backwards, stopped on track, high velocity collisions, etc.).
    • Developer’s Note: While we're initially only making this change for Track Day Meetups, we will continue to observe the community’s feedback to ascertain if we need to do the same thing for Drift Meetups as well.
