Forza Motorsport 5 is the sixth installment of the Forza Motorsport series. It was announced on May 21, 2013 during the Xbox One reveal.

It is the first title in the series to feature laser-scanned race tracks, as well as open-wheel racing cars from fourth generation Dallara IndyCars and classic Formula One cars.

Similar to its predecessor, Forza Motorsport 5 features a partnership with the BBC television show Top Gear again and includes narrations of every show host. The player will also be able to compete against the Stig's "Digital Cousin" in unique car challenges.

Career

Drivatar

Drivatar is a cloud-based artificial intelligence that is capable of adapting to the gameplay style of the player. It gathers information by recording the driving of the player and translates it into Drivatars.

Players can improve the skill level of their Drivatars by allowing them to sit on their passenger seats.[1] Players can also quit the game and let their Drivatar compete in online games.

Forzavista

Main article: Autovista

Autovista makes a reappearance in the title but under the name Forzavista. Different to Forza Motorsport 4, every vehicle can be explored by the player. Forzavista uses the technology of Kinect for a virtual tour of any car the player wishes to explore. Vehicles may be viewed by using swiping gestures, voice commands, etc.

The Day One Edition release features a downloadable content car pack and a unique game box with additional artwork.

Limited Edition

The Limited Edition release includes VIP membership privileges, 1250 Car Token points, and three downloadable car packs.
