Forza Motorsport 7 is the seventh iteration of the Forza Motorsport series and the tenth main title of the Forza series.
Development of the title was hinted by wheel manufacturer Fanatec in December 2016, whom revealed the improved wheel support for the game.[1]
At the E3 2017 press conference, the title was confirmed to be released on October 3, 2017 for the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms, and on November 7, 2017 as a launch title for the Xbox One X. Both the PC and Xbox One X release are playable in native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. [2]
On September 15, 2021, Forza Motorsport 7 and all of its downloadable content will no longer be able to be purchased from the Microsoft Store or be available to download from Xbox Game Pass, due to the game reaching its end-of-life status. However, players that have purchased the game or any downloadable content prior to this date will still be able to download any content they own. Additionally, Game Pass users that previously purchased downloadable content for Forza Motorsport 7 will receive a token for the game through the Xbox Message Center so they can continue playing the game.
