"The “CTR”, as it is commonly referred to, clocked huge sales numbers and was hailed as the “hot hatch of the year” more than once. That probably won't be a surprise, considering the car's endlessly reliable K20A Type R powertrain. The result is a car that's pure fun from stem to stern."—Official description (Forza Horizon)[1]
The 2004 Honda Civic Type R - abbreviated as Honda Civic '04 and formerly known as "Honda Civic Type-R" - is a front-wheel drive hot hatch by Honda.
It appears in all main series titles.
Synopsis[]
The 2004 Civic Type-R, codenamed EP3, is the successor to the EK9 model built from 1997 to 2000. Due to its assembly in Great Britain, the EP3 Type R was mainly destined for the European market but was also exported to Japan.
The EP3 received a successor for the 2007 model year, although its successor was available in two different model variants specifically designed for the European and Japanese market, respectively.[2]
