It also includes independent multi-rear link suspension, upgraded brakes, wider tires, a limited slip differential and a louder exhaust.

The Elantra N is offered with a 8-speed DCT automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual transmission. The DCT option features the N Grin Shift (NGS), N Power Shift (NPS) and N Track Sense Shift (NTS) featured on newer Hyundai N models.[2]
