The 1991 Jaguar Sport XJR-15 - abbreviated as "Jaguar XJR-15" or "Jag. XJR-15 '91"[1] - is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car manufactured by Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as a barn find and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Developed in a collaboration between Jaguar and TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) under the Jaguar Sport name, it was built in a limited production run for the Jaguar Intercontinental Challenge, a single season series in 1991 supporting the Formula 1 races at Monaco, Silverstone, and Spa.
Using a chassis based on the XJR-9 1988 Le Mans winning prototype, only fifty-three examples were built and each is fitted with Jaguar's 6.0L V12 engine.
Although developed for a manufacturer racing series, it is fitted with street legal bumpers and has raised clearance to make it more road capable, but has suspension designed for a low ride height and has a aerodynamically designed undertray. It is also the first fully carbon fibre road car.
