The 1993 Jaguar XJ220S TWR - abbreviated as "Jaguar XJ220S" or "Jag. XJ220S '93[1] - is a prototype race car by Jaguar.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Car Pass on January 13, 2022 and in Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
Built to homologate the Jaguar XJ220-C for Group N, Tom Walkinshaw Racing built both the Le Mans XJ220-C race car and the road-going XJ220S, which in turn were based on the fastest production car at the time.
With only nine examples built; six XJ220S models and three XJ220C models, both have had a rigorous refitting to become lighter and more powerful.
The 3.5-litre V6 was modified to produce an extra 138 hp (103 kW), and nearly every aluminium body panel, with the exception of the doors, was replaced with carbon fibre composite panels accommodating with wider sills, an adjustable rear spoiler, and a new front splitter.
