"Founded by Matt Thomas, a former aerodynamicist for the McLaren Formula 1 team, this Australian company has set an ambitious goal: to build a supercar to compete against the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren. During initial testing in 2004, the company's prototype posted a top speed of 211 mph and went from 0-60 mph in three seconds flat. First introduced at the Melbourne International Motorshow in 2004, the Joss supercar is still under development as a production vehicle. Joss has announced that the final road car will meet all Australian Design regulations and will be available starting in early 2011."—Official description[1]
