"The 2023 KIA EV6 GT has the heart-and-home feel of an SUV that crosses the “GT” line on the sand to become a racing utility vehicle that’s as comfy as it is powerful. Like a futuristic spaceship, EV6 GT features a green button on the steering wheel that unlocks its true power, transforming this changeling from urban driver into racing speedster able to go from 0 – 100 kmh in just 3.2 seconds using its surprising 576 bhp. To keep you on your toes from the get-go, this KIA’s inside is adorned with racing interiors like the seats and trim, so even the tamest drives around the Festival will have the unique race-to-the-finish feel. Did we mention it’s 4 wheel-drive and electric? Because it is and we love it."—Official description[1]
The 2023 Kia EV6 GT - also referred to as "Kia EV6 GT '23" - is an all-wheel drive electric compact crossover SUV by Kia.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 35.
Synopsis[]
Launched in October 2022, the EV6 GT is the high-performance variant of the EV6, Kia's first dedicated electric vehicle and the first vehicle developed on Hyundai's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the same platform used for the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and the Hyundai IONIQ 6.[2]
The EV6 GT features a rear electronic limited-slip differential, electronically controlled suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and visual changes to the front and rear, as well as a GT Mode and Drift Mode.[3]
While the base version features a single 58 kWh battery, the GT features dual electric motors fed by a 77.4 kWh battery pack, producing a combined 577 hp (430 kW) and 546 ft·lb (740 N·m) of torque, claiming a 0 - 62 mph (100 km/h) speed of 3.5 seconds. However, it has less driving range than its base model, driving up to 212.5 miles (342 km), as well as higher energy consumption.[4]
