The 2017 Koenigsegg Agera RS - abbreviated as "Agera RS" or "Koe. Agera '17"[1] - is a rear-wheel drive hypercar by Koenigsegg.

It appears in Forza Horizon 4 as part of the Car Pass since September 28, 2018, and as standard in all subsequent main series titles.

Synopsis[]

The Agera RS is a track-focused variant of the Koenigsegg Agera with various components implemented from the One:1 such as the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which features 1160 hp (865 kW) as standard but can be upgraded to one megawatt (1,341 horsepower) as an option.

Unlike the One:1, the Agera RS with the upgraded engine does not meet or overlap the power-to-weight ratio, due to a slight increase of weight.

Performance[]

The Agera RS features extremely quick acceleration and a high top speed of 280 mph (451 km/h), which is around 10 mph (16 km/h) higher than on the One:1. Therefore it is the fastest stock production car in the Forza series, making it ideal for Speed Trap PR Stunts and tracks favoring top speed.

Although handling is decent due to the light RWD platform, the high-power drivetrain with the traction control turned off causes excessive wheelspin during acceleration on lower gears.

Trivia[]

  • The Koenigsegg Agera RS is currently the fastest production car in the world to have run a speed record in both directions (most notably in a closed public road), with an average speed of 447 km/h (278 mph). This feat was eclipsed in 2019 by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, with an average speed of 489 km/h (304 mph). However, the Agera RS maintains its record as the Chiron is a pre-production prototype.
  • The model of this car featured in the game was the one used for setting the speed record in real life.
  • The Forza depiction of the Agera RS has one less lb⋅ft of torque than the One:1 when stock.
