LaRacer @ Horizon is a Horizon Story in Forza Horizon 4 consisting of ten chapters. The story is unlocked upon reaching player level 40.

LaRacer, a famous vlogger from the Americas, has traveled down to the Horizon festival in the United Kingdom to recount her top ten favorite cars in video games, with assistance from the player.

Earning all thirty stars in the Horizon Story awards the player with the Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport.

Number 10

"Beep boop. Welcome to my channel, live from #HorizonUK. I'll be counting down my #TenFavorite experiences in car games!"

—Synopsis

LaRacer excitedly begins her livestream by saying she's at the Horizon festival and that she'll be counting down her top ten favorite cars in video games in daily livestreams, and that she's enlisted "one of the biggest rising stars at the Horizon festival" (the player) to help. She then reveals her number ten car: the Ferrari Testarossa from Out Run, and then asks those who haven't played Out Run to go pause her video, play it and then come back.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to reach the Moorhead Wind Farm within a certain time; after arriving at the wind farm, LaRacer remarks that she is jealous that the player got to drive that, but her subscribers "loved watching" the player drive and that she'd been fielding various questions and comments throughout the drive.

LaRacer begins her livestream by recounting her experience in the Testarossa, and reveals her number nine car: the dune buggy from Smuggler's Run, and picks an Ariel Nomad to fill in for it.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to reach somewhere in the forest near the Horizon Festival within a certain time; throughout the drive, LaRacer makes remarks about Smuggler's Run. On arrival, LaRacer tells the player that she has "loads more content lined up".

LaRacer excitedly begins her vlog by asking if her viewers remember the first cross-platform racing game, and then reveals her number eight favorite car: the Lamborghini Countach from Test Drive.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to clock a certain speed on a the Hythe House speed trap; as the player drives, LaRacer gushes about the Countach and how hard it was to choose a car for the episode. As the player triggers the speed trap, LaRacer states she wants a go in the Countach.

LaRacer begins her vlog by telling her viewers about what is to come, and that Edinburgh is nearby. She then reveals the next car: the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta from Project Gotham Racing, and instructs the player to drive to Edinburgh. On the drive, she talks about Project Gotham Racing's Kudos system, and reminisces on fond times of her playing the game with her dad.

When they arrive at Edinburgh, LaRacer talks about a milkshake she just had and links her viewers to the video, but also tells them to pause that video as she wants her viewers to see what the player can do in the Ferrari.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has some 3 minutes to accumulate a certain amount of skill score, with LaRacer commenting on their progress at certain milestones. When time runs out, she laments that Project Gotham Racing needs a reboot, but Horizon "isn't half bad".

She then reveals that she could not have owned the car without her fans and expresses her gratitude, and reveals the game they are referencing by chanting the iconic attract mode theme from Daytona USA.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to reach Lakehurst while staying on the asphalt; as the player drives along, LaRacer makes various references to Daytona USA, as well as commenting on the game. On arrival at Lakehurst, she remarks that she is jealous that the player drives her car better than she can, and wants them to give her lessons, along with asking if she could livestream them.

As LaRacer flags off, she instructs the player to get to Ambleside and "do a crazy jump along the way" at the Ambleside Edge danger sign. On landing the jump, LaRacer comments that "it was wild" and wanted to do it again.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to reach Derwentwater while staying on the dirt; as the player drives along, LaRacer makes various references to Sega Rally Championship, such as "reading out" pace notes. On arrival at Derwentwater, she chants the iconic "GAME OVER YEAH!" from the game.

On arriving at the quarry, LaRacer continues her vlog by talking about the truck and telling them it is time to go "super offroad". As LaRacer flags off, the player has some 2 minutes and 30 seconds to accumulate a certain amount of skill points, with LaRacer commenting on their progress at certain milestones. When time runs out, LaRacer asks her audience if they wanted "more offroad stuff", or potentially, a whole countdown dedicated to it.

She then remarks that she was also given a custom race route just for this stunt.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to reach the Ambleside mountainside while staying on the asphalt; as the player drives along, LaRacer comments on the drive. On arrival at the mountainside, she remarks that she'd get the video edited and posted.

LaRacer begins her vlog by reminding her viewers that they were counting down her top ten favorite car experiences in video games, and that they've reached the top of the list. She then reveals the car: a Porsche 911 Turbo. She claims that while this may be a controversial choice as the car is not the fastest nor the most expensive, the 911's astronomic media presence more than makes up for it.

As LaRacer flags off, the player has to clock a certain speed on the Oakwood Crest speed trap; as the player drives, LaRacer gushes about the 911 and its performance, appearance and astronomic media presence, as well as recounting that the car was love at first sight. As the player triggers the speed trap, LaRacer signs off the video with a generic "like and subscribe" outro.

Post-completion

Post-completion, Joel contacts the player, saying that the player had already received a million views on at least some of the various videos they had made with LaRacer, and tells them to expect a callback. He later quizzically remarks that a perfect driver rating on an app or Horizon challenge is one thing, but achieving a perfect rating on the Internet is a whole other level altogether.
