"Superleggera translates to “super light.” This Gallardo weighs in at around 3,400 pounds, and while that is far from super light, it is some 154 pounds lighter compared to a standard LP-560-4. That lightness comes from the use of carbon fiber and lots of it. The engine cover, the diffuser, the side skirts, the mirrors and much of the interior are all carbon fiber. Aluminum wheels and titanium lug nuts account for a few pounds dropped as well. The Superleggera produces 10 more horsepower due to a retune and added air flow via its larger intake nostrils. Improved air flow also increases downforce, making this Bull stickier than ever. The Superleggera is for the discerning Lamborghini driver who wants everything the Gallardo LP-560-4 offers, and less where you want less and more where you want more."—Official description (Forza Horizon 2)[1]
The 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera - abbreviated as "Gallardo LP 570" or "Lambo Gallardo" - is an all-wheel drive supercar by Lamborghini.
It appears in Forza Motorsport 4 as part of the VIP Car Pack and in all subsequent main series titles.
In Forza Horizon 2, it appears as part of the Pre-Order Car Pack.
Synopsis[]
The Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is a lightweight, high-performance variant of the facelifted Lamborghini Gallardo. "Superleggera" means "super light" in Italian. The Gallardo series was followed-up by the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4.
Carbon fiber has been extensively used, saving 154 lb (70 kg) over the standard LP 560-4 model. Performance has been boosted with an uptuned 5.2 L (5,204 cc) V10, with the engine producing 562 hp (419 kW) and 398 ft·lb (540 N·m). 0 - 60 mph (97 km/h) is done in 3 seconds with an unchanged top speed of at least 202 mph (325 km/h).

Trivia[]
- In Forza games released before Forza Horizon 3, the Gallardo Superleggera's name is displayed as "Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera", omitting the space between "LP" and "570-4".
- The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera's 5.2L V10 engine can be swapped onto various cars in the Forza games. In Forza Horizon 3, this engine is replaced by the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4's 602 hp (449 kW) engine.
- The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera cannot be purchased from the Autoshow in Forza Horizon 3. Instead, the LP 570-4 Superleggera can only be earned either through the Auction House or by unlocking the "When in Rome" perk through the Skill Shop.
- The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera's engine and chassis would later be used in the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
- Post-Forza Motorsport 6 renditions of the Gallardo Superleggera feature a rear wing that is painted the same color as the main body, rather than carbon fiber.
