"To elevate the Huracán into a super-sports car with the prowess of a track machine, Lamborghini built the Huracán STO with one clear priority – give the world a high-end, road-legal supercar that fuses the innovative technology and unmatched driving experience of a modern race car. To achieve this, the Italian manufacturer's talented team of engineers created a bespoke design that includes extreme aerodynamics to produce incredible downforce, custom handling honed from the racetrack, special carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes derived from Formula 1, a race-ready lightweight chassis and a powerful V10 engine infused with Squadra Corse learnings that enables the Huracán STO to reach 0-62mph in 3 seconds with a top speed of 192mph (310km/h). In short, it’s blistering quick, representing decades of Lamborghini excellence and a winning motorsport heritage in a spectacular car like no other."—Official description[1]
The 2020 Lamborghini Huracán STO - abbreviated as "Huracán STO" or "L. Huracán S '20" - is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive track-focused sports car manufactured by Lamborghini.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5 as part of Series 20 and Forza Motorsport (2023).
Synopsis[]
As a track focused variant of the Huracán, its body is made of 75% carbon fibre, with the acronym "STO" standing for "Super Trofeo Omologato" (Road Legal, Super Trophy).
The power output of the STO's engine is the same as the Lamborghini Huracán Performante and the Huracán Evo. Its rear-wheel drive layout, rear-wheel steering system, and CCMR Brakes inspired by Formula 1.
Its engine cover is reminiscent of the Super Trofeo Evo race car, and the entire hood opens to reveal a small compartment for storing racing equipment.
