The 2020 Land Rover Defender 110 X, abbreviated as "LR Defender '20", is a front-engine, all-wheel drive production off-roader manufactured by Land Rover.
It appears in Forza Horizon 5.
Synopsis[]
One of 2020's most anticipated cars was the second generation Defender, a modern era debut of the well-established first generation off-roader built from 1983 to 2016, which in itself was an offshoot of the distinguished Land-Rovers built from 1948 to 1983, effectively having to live up to the lineage of an over 70 year production model.
First hinted at in late 2018, the second generation model wasn't formally announced until the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019. It was revealed as the replacement for the discontinued first generation Defender, with its development containing no parts from the earlier generation.
Some exterior elements were refined compared to the previous generation, but the modernised interior setup the second generation as both a capable off-roader and comfortable commuter SUV. Being built in a new manufacturing facility in Nitra, Slovakia, production began in 2019 for the 110 trim with deliveries in early 2020, and the 90 trim followed in late 2020.
